At Explorers Learning Academy we recognise the Gundungurra People as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we learn and play on. We are committed to working with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to continue to support all families and staff that attend Explorers and promote connection and understanding of First Nations Peoples', cultures and histories. We will continue to do this through promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in a respectful, sensitive and meaningful manner that reflects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples' culture. This allows Educators to collaborate and provide equal and equitable educational opportunities.
Explorers Learning Academy is committed to the training and development of all educators to support their understanding and the embedding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into curriculum and daily practices. This is encouraged through all developmental areas.
At Explorers Learning Academy we are committed to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses in the resources we ethically purchase to demonstrate and represent cultural appreciation and connection with the community.
