At Jenny's Kindergarten Narellan Vale, we will respectfully teach children, families, educators and the wider community about the true histories of Australia, and the cultures and ongoing contributions of the First Peoples of Australia. Through empathy, and compassion, and developing a deeper knowledge of the Traditional Custodians of this Land, we will respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our program, linking this to the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. We will continue to build meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community. Through building these connections and working together towards reconciliation, we aim to equip our staff, children and families with the wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and embrace the strengthening of community partnerships to encourage better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and all community members.
