Milestones Raby's vision for reconciliation is to ensure every individual that steps into our service feels safe, secure and supported, and that their cultural identity is both respected and recognised within our service. We make a commitment through our Reconciliation Action Plan to step forward and acknowledge the hardships of the First Peoples of Australia caused through colonisation. We will provide meaningful opportunities for staff, children, families and the wider community, to learn about the histories, cultures and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and make change for future generations through our educational programs and practices. Â
We aim to support children, educators and families to better understand reconciliation and take these steps forward with us, creating an environment that is respectful, collaborative with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and promotes cultural awareness and reconciliation. Â Â Â
We make a commitment to continue to deepen our knowledge of proactive reconciliation, by understanding the perspectives and histories of First Nations People and by working in collaboration with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the wider community. Â Â Â Â Â Â
