At ECTARC Sanctuary Point, we aim to foster an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in an inclusive environment while driving positive change through actions and practices. We intend to move forward together! Our vision for reconciliation includes improving our understanding of the true histories of Australia and the experiences and perspectives of First Nations peoples.  We aim to walk side by side in a respectful manner with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, learning about and caring for the Land that we live on and which the education and care of our children occurs, especially that of the Wandi Wandian people of the Yuin Nation. We welcome and look forward to building genuine relationships with the local Aboriginal community that will grow in strength and purpose for all those connected to the Childrens Centre and extend into the broader community.Â
