Reconciliation at Bumblebee Early Education Centre begins with  learning about the true histories of Australia. Reconciliation is about all of us, including parents, staff, and community members building respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.Working together, each of us has a role to play in creating a shared future that values diversity, as we come together to build a sustainable society that enables our children to thrive.  Â
Showing respect and acknowledging the true histories and the ongoing impacts of colonisation, we  must unlearn the unconsciously biased ways of thinking about First Nations peoples, cultures, and histories. Â
We need to build strong relationships and connections with the local First Nations community. Each one of us plays a crucial role in this process, and it's our responsibility to respect diversity and inclusion to be a part of the reconciliation journey.Â
