Chantels Kindergarten RAP journey starts with learning and implentmenting the 8 pathways of Aboriginal pedagogies into our philsophy and eductional program. The starting point to connect with Land, culture, community and Country beings here, with us. To give every child, family and educators the chance to engage, learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and ways of learning, living off and from the land and implenting the culture in a respectful manner. With the help, support and background of using 8 ways to build our RAP vision. Our future goals are: To begin to build the bridge to connect Country, Aboriginal culture and build lastling, meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of the community (Dharawal Land) with Chantels Kindergarten. we strive to incorporate Dharawal Language and perspectives in our everyday learning tasks. We will communicate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and non-Aboriginal families for their point of views, culture awareness, and cultural goals to be included and consider when building and reflecing on our RAP and Philosophy . Connecting and including our families into our RAP journey will help extend the bridge with community input and relations with Aboriginal people.
