Our vision for reconciliation is a united, inclusive community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures, and contributions are respectfully recognised, valued, and embedded into our everyday practice. We are committed to building strong, authentic relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. Through the celebration of NAIDOC Week and National Reconciliation Week, we will create meaningful opportunities to learn from and stand in solidarity with First Nations peoples, acknowledging their ongoing connection to Country and their enduring cultural legacy. We seek to foster a culturally safe and responsive environment by increasing awareness, understanding, and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander rights, stories, and knowledge systems. Through continued cultural learning and reflection, we aim to empower our staff, children, families, and communities to walk together in reconciliation, advancing equity, healing, and truth-telling across all areas of our work.
