Our vision for reconciliation is a community that acknowledges the diverse cultures, histories, perspectives, and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, fostering strong, respectful relationships between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people.
We recognise that every child has the right to learn about, and participate in the learning of, Australia's true histories and the cultures of the First Peoples of Australia.
Educators have a responsibility to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities have a culturally safe and respectful environment that supports meaningful relationships and partnerships.
We continue to work alongside the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities as we deepen our understanding of the histories and cultures of the local area, and where appropriate, respectfully incorporate First Nations peoples’ perspectives into our daily routines and educational initiatives.
