At Birrahlee our vision is grounded in deep commitment to, and respect for, the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.      We acknowledge the Cammeraygal People as the Traditional Custodians of the Land where we come together to teach, learn, and play each day. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and recognize their continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.     We aim to provide quality education and care by implementing culturally responsive education to achieve the best outcomes for children in our reconciliation journey and their learning journey, working in partnership with family and community.      We seek to achieve this by engaging in respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and we understand how important it is to build cultural responsiveness in our organization.     We are dedicated to make reconciliation a reality by implementing high quality education and care incorporating First Nations pedagogy, and knowledge into our everyday practices and learning experiences.      Our vision for reconciliation is to have a team of educators who are committed to the reconciliation journey and who seek to establish strong foundations for children to be lifelong learners and advocates for reconciliation.
