Parap Preschool

Reconciliation is an ongoing journey to create a future where Aboriginal people of the Larrakia Nation, their histories, cultures and knowledge are valued and acknowledged.  

At Parap Preschool, we will walk this path together with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, the children in our care, their families and all educators. We want to grow side-by-side.  

We are committed to building strong, two-way relationships with the Larrakia community, listening with respect and creating meaningful opportunities to learn from and work together. By respectfully embedding Larrakia and other First Nations perspectives into our teaching and daily practice, we endeavour to nurture a sense of belonging and pride.  

We are dedicated to ongoing listening and learning in order to work towards a future where all of our community comes together with respect, understanding and unity.
