At Kapunda High School we respect and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We acknowledge the historical and continuing impacts of colonial injustices and will create a rich reconciliation experience by engaging children, educators, families and the community. Learning about First Nations peoples and culture will be at the forefront of our focus. As educators we continue to share the responsibility of embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander's lived experiences in our curriculum. Through shared experience with Elders and Cultural Educators within the community we will establish respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community and beyond.Â
