We at Victor Harbor High School acknowledge the deep connections Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the Land and their understanding of the relationship between the lands, waters, plants and animals. We acknowledge the wrongs of past government policies and the ongoing impacts on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples since colonisation. As a school, we commit to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, respecting the knowledges, experiences and cultural diversities of First Nations peoples. We continue to include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our teaching and learning and promote equal and equitable learning outcomes for all students. Â
