At Pennington, we envision a future where every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student and all students feel a profound sense of belonging to our primary school community. Our Reconciliation Action Plan is a living commitment that guides our journey of fostering a community where understanding, respect and unity thrive. Our RAP provides us with a framework to actively engage with and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, traditions and knowledges. It empowers students and staff to take part in actions that foster reconciliation, and it encourages open dialogue and shared responsibility in creating an inclusive environment. This plan helps us understand the historical and ongoing disadvantages faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while also providing opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration for everyone in our school.  Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, we are committed to fostering a culture of respect, understanding, and unity, where every student feels valued, heard, and  proud of their heritage. Together, we will build a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are celebrated, and students feel empowered in an inclusive, supportive community.
