Our vision is for a reconciled Australia where First Nations peoples feel heard and respected. We imagine a future where Australia's true histories are taught and that this truth is understood, where First Nations peoples cultures are celebrated, and where all people feel connected and acknowledged. Â
At Auburn Primary School, we walk together with purpose and humility, committed to building a future based on respect, equity, equality, learning, and a shared responsibility. We recognise that our school's reconciliation journey requires ongoing learning, un-learning and re-learning. This includes building staffs confidence and cultural capability through deepening their understanding of First Nation peoples, histories, and moving beyond tokenistic practices to respectfully embed authentic First Nations perspectives across all learning areas.  Â
