Our vision for reconciliation is to create a place where everyone learns about fairness, respect for First Nations peoples, and understanding of our shared histories. Â We will acknowledge and learn from the deep connections that First Nations people have with the Land, and we celebrate their cultures and traditions. Â As educators, we understand our important role in promoting reconciliation in our classrooms, on the playground, in our work spaces, and online. Â We are dedicated to building strong relationships with First Nations peoples and working together to improve the learning and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and all students. Â Our school is committed to being a welcoming place that values the rich and diverse cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Â We strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students, staff, and families, where First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people can build positive relationships. Â Together, we are laying the foundation for a reconciled future that respects and includes everyone, where we share responsibilities and support one another. Â We commit to our role in the truth-telling and building of ongoing partnerships with the Gumbaynggirr people to foster meaningful reconciliation.Â
