Our vision for reconciliation is to build and strengthen meaningful relationships between our school and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We are committed to deepening our connection with the Dharug Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our school stands. We will provide meaningful opportunities for students, staff, families and the wider community to learn about and engage with Australia's shared histories, cultures, and the enduring traditions of Country and its First Peoples. True reconciliation can only be achieved when we actively seek knowledge, understanding, and respect. Therefore, we commit to walking and learning together with First Nations peoples to foster awareness, equity, equality and respect. In striving for reconciliation, we are guided by our school values: •Curiosity – to deepen our cultural understandings. •Courage – to bring our actions to life. •Character – to behave in a culturally responsible manner. •Respect – to live wisely and compassionately with all people
