Our vision is to participate in the process that brings Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the broader Australian community into a respectful relationship that ensures justice, equality and equity for First Nations peoples.
We acknowledge the importance and value of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We acknowledge our histories as a nation and the importance of teaching our children about injustices that have happened and their ongoing impacts of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As a service we see the need for our children, staff and families to build an understanding of our histories so that we can learn from mistakes and move forward as a respectful, mindful community.
This Reconciliation Action Plan takes that journey forward to allow us to celebrate existing partnerships, establish new partnerships, and ensure the ethos of cultural safety and reconciliation is fully embedded across everything we do at C&K Logan Village and through a new generation of young Australians.
