Participants will:
understand reconciliation in Australia, based on five dimensions of reconciliation
understand the history and current state of reconciliation in Australia
understand the interrelatedness between educational and reconciliation outcomes
understand and champion reconciliation, using the Narragunnawali platform’s RAP framework, professional learning activities, curriculum resources, and subject guides to support whole school/service RAP development and reconciliation journeys
reflect on personal experiences with reconciliation in education, and understand how ongoing learning, ‘unlearning’ and ‘relearning’ are critical to the design and delivery of opportunities for students to develop understanding and respect for First Nations peoples, histories and cultures.

This workshop is for schools and early learning services that are developing a Narragunnawali RAP for the first time. This facilitated and interactive workshop steps participants through the Narragunnawali RAP development process. You will reflect and connect with colleagues from other schools and services and, by the end the workshop, you will understand:
how to navigate the Narragunnawali platform
the Narragunnawali RAP framework and the lifecycle of a RAP
the key steps involved when developing a Narragunnawali RAP
the resources available to support the development and implementation of your RAP
