Caring for Country

overview

In this activity, teachers and educators explore what ‘Country’ means for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and why it is important to sustainably connect with, and care for, Country with sustainability practices. In doing so, they will learn more about traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges and practices used to looking after Country/place, and how these can continue to contribute to addressing some of the big environmental questions/concerns of our modern times.
