In this activity, children are given the opportunity to meet—directly or indirectly—members of an exemplar group or committee with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation. In doing so, they are able to develop an appreciation of the importance of diverse representation on groups or committees, and about some of the key features of a representative group more generally, such as respecting diversity, cooperation and teamwork.
