Reconciliation Garden (Secondary)

Developing a reconciliation garden can foster an understanding of the importance of place and connection to Country, as well as of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge around the uses of bush foods or native plants. Creating a reconciliation garden is an example of a whole-school project that can be used as an anchor point for a wide range of relevant and significant curriculum activities. This activity details opportunities for students to engage with a whole-school reconciliation project as part of their classroom curriculum.
