Reconciliation Garden (Early Learning)

overview

Developing a reconciliation garden can foster an understanding of the importance of place and connection to Country, as well as of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge around the uses of bush foods or native plants. Creating a reconciliation garden is an example of a whole-service project that can be used as an anchor point for relevant and significant curriculum activities. This activity details opportunities for children to engage with a whole-service reconciliation project as part of their classroom curriculum.
