Who We Are: Country/Place (Secondary)

overview

Who We Are: Brave New Clan is a series of films developed by CAAMA Productions and Reconciliation Australia in partnership with Foxtel that follow the lives of six exceptional young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who share stories about their communities, histories and cultures in contemporary Australia.

This activity supports students to engage with the film Who We Are: Country/Place, wherein six young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples speak about their connection to Country. Their reflections provide an insight into what Country means to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the complexity of the relationships they have with the land, sea, sky and waterways.
